About FeedEase
Made by parents, for parents. FeedEase is a small, independent iPhone app to log bottles, nursing and pumping sessions, and to learn your baby's own feeding rhythm.
Why FeedEase exists
FeedEase started with the questions every new parent asks at 3am. When did the baby last eat? How much did they take? Is this bottle still good? The app answers them in a tap, and our guides answer the rest with the official rules, written plainly.
How we write our guides
- Official sources only, chosen by country. Our English guides rely on the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), the Office on Women's Health and MedlinePlus. Our French guides rely on Santé publique France and the official 1000 premiers jours website.
- Never translated. Recommendations differ between countries. For freshly pumped breast milk in the fridge, the CDC says up to 4 days, while the French public health guidance says 48 hours. So each guide is written from the sources of the country it is for.
- Every number checked against the source. Each figure is compared with the wording of the official page, and those pages are linked at the bottom of every guide.
- We say when the sources are silent. If no official body covers a question, like the formula pitcher method, we tell you so and apply the closest official rule instead of inventing one.
- Dated reviews. Every guide shows when it was last checked against its sources. When an official page changes, we update ours.
What we are not
FeedEase is not a medical service, and our guides are general information, not medical advice. Every baby is different. If something worries you, talk to your pediatrician.
How FeedEase makes money
Our guides carry no ads and no sponsored content. FeedEase earns money from an optional Premium subscription in the app, which adds feeding predictions, early reminders and detailed stats. Logging feeds, your history and every milk storage timer stay free. The guides mention the app in a side box, never inside the answers.
